Our gold-filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of 14 kt gold (constituting 5% of the item's total weight) mechanically bonded to a base of brass metal.Gold-filled pieces have the same appearance as high carat gold, and gold-filled items, even with daily wear, will lastingly retain its gold coating.The layer of gold on gold-filled items is 5 to 10 times thicker than that produced by regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than that produced by gold electroplateWe only use precious and semi-precious gemstones that have been cut and polished to complement our gold wire designs.
Handle with care, avoid moisture, store in dry place. Natural gem stones should be kept away from chemical products.
If handled properly our gold filled jewelry should only require an occasional buffing to keep their shine.
